The state of Maine elicits this idea of slowing down, shutting off and reconnecting with nature; when you arrive at the Maine Lake House and your cell phone has lost all its service you will have no choice but to surrender to that idea. This will not be a problem! Located on the banks of Webb Lake, this camp has everything to offer for summer and winter fun. Head out for a morning paddle or perhaps just sit on the dock and let the loons serenade you while you enjoy your coffee. Moose are plentiful in this neck of the woods so keep your eyes out! The interior of the main cabin is a whimsical take on rustic, nooks for bird watching and reading, build a fire in the wood stove on a chilly night or perhaps a little al fresco shower? The bunkhouse next door with its own kitchenette and bathroom is great for extra friends to tag along, feeling brave? Sleep in the boathouse! A tip for your stay, make pancakes on the deck. They have an incredible griddle that we made all the excuses to use! On a clear night be sure to star gaze from the deck, it measures a 2 on the Dark Sky Meter.

While You're There:

It is right down the road from Mt. Blue State Park which has hiking and a public beach. The options for activities at the cabin are more than enough for your stay!
