The Guest House
Cabin Description:
The Guest House offers an ideal blend of cabin comforts and camping for both nature enthusiasts and indoor lovers. Without wifi or television, it's a place to reconnect with nature. Located on 15 acres next to protected Audubon land, the cabin provides stunning natural views and complete privacy. Inside, the main living area combines antiques and modern comforts, creating a space that feels like a treasured family heirloom. It includes a small but efficient kitchen, a dining nook, and a large couch facing the water views. Two sliding glass doors open to a refreshing breeze. The bedroom features a desk, ideal for writing or participating in a community paint-by-number. Outside, kayaking and canoeing are available, and the viewing platform is perfect for sunrise watching and possibly spotting moose. An outdoor shower adds to the nature immersion, and the outhouse is conveniently located. Don't overlook the on-site antique shop, managed by your host Sarah. It operates on an honor system and offers a variety of interesting finds. The cabin accommodates two people and is open seasonally, closing from November through May 1st.
