Little Acadia Shores
Cabin Description:
All the dreaminess of coastal Maine is at your fingertips here at Little Acadia Shores. Pine mixes with the brine of the salty water to create a heavenly scent which greets you as you make your way down the quiet winding roads to the home. Step inside and immediately open the windows and doors, the sea breeze is a calming addition to the stunning interior. The bright kitchen/living room is effortlessly cool and calming, the decor is perfectly done and pairs well with the scenery. Cooking here was a true delight, the space was well equipped and has all the space a chef could ever want, hello two sinks! The primary suite is so cozy and faces the water with french doors that lead out to the deck. The bathroom with its soaking tub and same stunning views is the cherry on top of the splendid sundae. Upstairs you’ll find a great office space and down the basement stairs there is a very well equipped home gym. Time to head outdoors, you’ll have plenty of options for recreating whether it be disc golf or table tennis, but definitely treat yourself to a sauna session! Situated on the edge of the property above the bay, the scenery will leave you deeply relaxed. Take the stairs down to the water and perhaps you’ll get a glimpse of a seal! They were most active at sunrise and it was more than worth the early hour because these views are unreal.
While You're There:
The Schoodic Peninsula which is a part of Acadia National Park is only 30 minutes from the home. Pack a picnic and be sure to stop by The Mindful Loaf, a sweet roadside bakery stand, for post exploration snacks. The main part of the National Park can be accessed via the Bar Harbor Ferry or you can drive around the long way, still not a long drive from the house. On our way in we swung through Tracey’s Seafood on route 1 and had their 2 for $25 lobsters rolls, so good and beats the prices we saw elsewhere.
