Curio Cabin
Cabin Description:
Stylish and modern vibes wrapped up neatly in a 1970’s log home, an excellent combination indeed. Conveniently located yet the property feels miles away as it sits on five forested acres of land. The wildlife sightings were abundant during our stay! We saw deer, many different birds of prey and the resident woodchuck. Of course all of this can be enjoyed from the comfort of any of the three different porches, my favorite was the screen porch, what a luxury! The interior of the home is warm and lit in such a cozy way, it is very easy to settle in. The living room has the feeling of a museum library, the wall to wall bookcase lends to that feeling with plenty of books, art supplies and games to inspire a fun stay. The second floor is home to game nook with chess and, appropriately, Lincoln Logs. The primary suite has a king size bed that is so comfortable, sleeping in never felt so good. Given your proximity to the lake and mountain I doubt you’ll want to sleep in. No matter what you get up to during your days at the cabin, gather around the fire pit for a splendid end to an even better day.
