The word that this particular fox brings to mind is “peace” or perhaps “relaxation”. The Copper Fox Treehouse is a whimsical getaway where children of all ages can escape and unwind for a while. When you begin your journey down the tree-lined path the literal distance you put between yourself and the outside world is just the start of a guaranteed mental vacation. The chirping of the birds and scurrying of woodland critters, the gentle breeze that weaves in and out of the trees; a serenade to welcome you in. The treehouse itself is a triumph of community and creativity, from first glance you can feel the love that was poured into the guest experience. Ascending up and into the foxes head the theme runs throughout the open floor plan. Be sure to pay extra attention to detail because your hosts have left no stone unturned in the pursuit of whimsy. An abundance of windows and natural light on a cool morning is a tonic that will make even night owls into early risers. After a hearty breakfast of maine blueberry pancakes be sure to explore the trails of Bradbury Mountain State Park, there is a connecting trail on the property! If you must leave the oasis there is oodles of Maine exploration within minutes and you’re only about 15 minutes away from the best lobster rolls on the coast!

Explore the nature that surrounds you! Freeport is 15 minutes away. The Maine Desert is about 10 minutes away. We enjoyed a delicious lobster roll & fried scallops at Day’s Crabmeat & Lobster.
